Inspired by the song of the same name, Hazey Jane draws from the whimsical and haunting works of Nick Drake’s 1971 album Bryter Layter. She looks towards the future, flowers in her hair, surrounded in a daze of creativity.
Each 12 x 18 print is meticulously hand carved from linoleum and printed by hand using traditional relief techniques, when the ink has dried the surface of each piece is detailed with a ballpoint pen, adding delicate cross hatching shading. The textures and subtle imperfections in each print reflect the analog warmth of the music that inspired it. No two prints will ever be the same.
